How InVentry can help keep your workplace safe during the pandemic

A new feature with the InVentry sign-in system could ensure that your workplace stays even safer in the fight against coronavirus and that you remain GDPR complaint at the same time.

The electronic system has already been rolled out to thousands of schools and businesses across the UK. For its users, InVentry helps to manage visitors, staff and student sign in with ease and speed. It’s a modern solution to an age-old problem; how do you safely keep track of dozens, if not hundreds, of staff and visitors across a large site?

InVentry has an electronic sign-in screen at the entry points to your site. Up to now, the system has had a ‘Health Declaration’ feature for staff signing in, but now InVentry has introduced Health Declarations for visitors too. This makes it easier to ensure that anyone showing symptoms of Covid-19 or generally feeling unwell cannot enter your workplace.

Health safety is at the forefront of everyone’s minds at the moment and this feature is really useful to ensure you keep a safe working environment for your employees. Visitor Health Declarations means that you can invite people to your site, whilst demonstrating that you are minimising the risk of any illness entering the workplace.

So, how does it work?

Pre-booking

Send visitors who have pre-booked their visit a Health Declaration on the day they’re meant to be arriving on site. This declaration requires your visitor to confirm they are not feeling unwell.

Deny Access

If you have a Paxton integration, you can remove access from your visitor’s invitation, meaning they cannot use their invitation to access the site.

Health Contact

Automatically send responses to your Internal Health Contact when a declaration is declined. This allows for Track and Trace to take place if your visitor has previously entered the building.

Customisable

Visitor Health Declarations are easily customisable, which is great for personalisation. As well as the original declaration, you can also customise the message when entry to the site is confirmed or declined.

Onsite declaration

If you haven’t pre-booked a visitor, you can also set up to have the Health Declaration appear on your InVentry log-in screen.

Visitor Health Declarations are available to all customers who have an InVentry Anywhere license.

The InVentry sign in system is designed to be flexible and can be adapted to meet the individual needs of your business. We can arrange a FREE online demonstration so that you can see at first-hand how the system could benefit you. To find out more about the InVentry sign in system, give us a call on 01237 420010.
